Clare Pitchford B.Sc. M.C.Pod 

Clare graduated from the University of Brighton in 1998 with distinctions in all academic finals.

She achieved a top student of the year award with a personal accolade from Professor Michael Whiting.

Clare has worked in the NHS and in private practice with a special interest in diabetes, skin, and nail surgery .

She has worked as podiatrist to the FA youth academy at Lilleshall and is constantly updating skills and knowledge with CPD.

Amanda Heatley B.Sc ( hons )

Mandy qualified in 2007 with a BSc  in podiatry from the University of Salford.

Mandy has a special interest in podo paediatrics treating children’s gait problem and conditions.

She has worked in both private practice and the NHS and has a wealth of experience .

My journey into podiatry, as a career, came from an interest in diabetes. Regular foot assessments are required as diabetes can lead to serious complications throughout the body but especially in the feet.

So before undertaking my Podiatry degree I shadowed local NHS podiatrists and saw what a difference you can make to peoples lives and the variety of skills you need.

After 3 years at the University of Salford I graduated with a 1st Class BSc. (Hons) Podiatry degree.

I then worked for the NHS podiatry team providing routine care and diabetic foot care treatment throughout Shropshire.

As a HCPC Registered Podiatrist I will take time to listen to your concerns and provide tailored advice and treatments to reduce your pain and discomfort and improve the appearance of your feet. During your consultation a full medical history will be taken to determine the right course of action for your podiatry treatment.

When working at Barclays Podiatry I enjoy the time and attention I am able to give to patients in a modern clinical setting and friendly atmosphere.

Sarah Simcock BSc (Hons)

Sarah graduated from the University of Salford with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) Podiatry degree. Following graduation she worked for Shropshire Community NHS and then Powys NHS before moving fully into private practice. Sarah enjoys all aspects of podiatry and has a keen interest in musculoskeletal problems of the foot.

She attended the 2025 London Marathon to work as a volunteer podiatrist on the finish line and continues to undertake further training in this area.
